Pups’ Patch After School Program
St. Anthony Grade School is seeking reliable and enthusiastic individuals to join our Pups’ Patch After School Program. Our After School Program supports 70-90 students on a given day.
We currently have multiple part-time openings and are seeking 1–2 individuals to join our program 2 days per week.
Position Summary
The After School Program Aide supports the After School Program Director in providing a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for students after the regular school day. This position assists with student supervision, homework, activities, snacks, and daily routines while supporting the mission and values of St. Anthony Parish and Schools.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of students participating in the after school program.
- Provide a welcoming, positive, and structured environment for students after the regular school day.
- Assist with homework, reading, educational activities, games, crafts, and other age-appropriate activities.
- Assist with snack time, transitions, cleanup, and other daily program routines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment.
- Follow established procedures for attendance, student release, emergencies, and other program operations.
- Support the mission and values of St. Anthony Parish and Schools by modeling professionalism, respect, and care for students.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable, organized, and patient
- Must demonstrate a positive attitude and genuine care for young children
- Willingness to support the Catholic mission, vision, and values of St. Anthony Schools
Hours
- Hours are 2:15 pm – 5:15 pm, two (2) days per week.
- Our program follows the school schedule from August through May.
- Specific days may vary based on school calendar and operational needs.
Compensation
- $15.50/hour
- Part-time hourly position
